Daley Ranch

Back in Southern California for the holidays, and thankfully, I had some time to hit the northern trails of Daley Ranch. About a 7.5 mile hike through the likes of Cougar Ridge, Engelman Oak, Hidden Spring, and the Bobcat Trail.

It had rained for the last couple days, so there was plenty of mud, as well as plenty of new animal tracks to look at – there are plenty of big coyotes out here. None seen today. No mountain lions either (yet again).

Pushed through some heavy bushes to examine some rocks, caves and newly seen features. It has been a couple years since I have seen these trails.
